Hephaestus (also Hephaistos) is the Greek god of fire and the forge. He is called Vulcan or Mulciber ("softener") in Roman mythology and Sethlans in Etruscan mythology. He is the Greek God of the forge, blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals and metallurgy and fire.
